Welcome to a typical day at Bruton Comfort Control. As an employee with a focus on furnace services, my job takes me to various locations in Oregon including Tigard, Newberg, Wilsonville, Tualatin, Hillsboro, and Aloha. My work varies on a daily basis and includes tasks such as Furnace Repair, Furnace Replacement, Furnace Maintenance, and Heating Services.

Morning Routines

The day starts bright and early at 7 am when I head to our main office. We have a team meeting which sets the tone for the rest of the day and keeps us updated on any important company news. Today we discussed new technologies and best practices for Furnace Replacement and Maintenance.

After the meeting, we break up into teams and head out to our respective assignments. Today, my first stop was a home in Newberg, OR where I had to do a routine Furnace Maintenance.

Furnace Maintenance and Repairs

Upon reaching the location, I assessed the furnace’s condition, checked for any malfunctioning parts, and made sure the system was running efficiently. The goal is to ensure that the homeowner won’t have to worry about their furnace breaking down in the middle of winter.

Next, I was off to Aloha, OR to conduct a furnace repair. Here, the furnace was showing clear signs of trouble, running intermittently and making unusual noises. After a detailed assessment, I could identify the problem and got to work right on fixing it.

Afternoon Undertakings

The afternoon routine usually involves furnace replacements in Tualatin, OR, and Wilsonville, OR. I visited a house in Tualatin, where the old furnace was beyond repair and was no longer efficient. After discussing with the homeowner, we decided on a suitable new model and I got to work on installing it.

Safety Checks and Heating Services

To end the day, I conducted some safety checks and routine heating services in Hillsboro, OR. An important part of my job is ensuring the safety and efficacy of each device I inspect. Heating services generally involve cleaning, checking controls, testing for leaks, and making necessary adjustments.

With that, another day at Bruton Comfort Control comes to a close. It gives me immense satisfaction knowing that the work done by our team is helping the residents of these cities stay warm and comfortable in their homes during the chilly Oregon winters.
